70. Until Safe in Heaven’s Embrace

We are fighting for salvation, 
We are seeking light and truth.
We are young, in need of counsel, 
To provide a strength for youth. 
While fierce conflicts rage around us, 
While vain enemies deride 
All our prayers, and songs, and virtues,
We sense Jesus at our side. 

Through millennia God kept us, 
As reserves for these last days. 
Father taught us of Christ’s mercy, 
Striving that each child be saved. 
Even though we seem outnumbered, 
Even if we’re weak and frail, 
With the Lord of Hosts before us, 
We will neither fear nor fail! 

Come and join us in this battle, 
Fighting with the Spirit’s sword, 
As we follow holy prophets, 
Whom the world has long ignored. 
We will never cease from trusting, 
Father’s power, Jesus’ grace, 
We will never cease our struggles, 
Until save in Heaven’s embrace.
