62. Call to Arms
It has been too many years now
You have played just like a child.
Ignoring things that matter
For the pastimes of your youth.
But a war is going on here,
And the battle’s growing wild.
Now our Father asks you spend your life
To teach the world His truth.
You cannot know in mortality
The depth of God’s desire,
That His children leave their selfish ways
And come to Him again.
But you’ve felt the Holy Spirit
Teach you something of your Sire.
And the Spirit’s whispered there’s no time
To waste in idle sin.
Long before you ever came here,
You made promises to Father.
With His Son, He’s waited all your life
To see those vows fulfilled.
In this conflict, precious souls will die,
Without Christ’s living water.
You were meant to save and heal them
With the power your Master wields.
So join His ranks and find your place
In the fight that looms before you.
For you’re living in those last days
That His prophets all foretold.
As the Lord prepares to use you,
Be assured life will not bore you--
But if you won’t wear God’s armor,
You need not fear growing old.

Ephesians 6:11-18
"Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints." [Bold added.]
