157.  A Message of Peace and Love

MOTIVATION AND TRIGGER:

The "A" family, across the ally, has figured, repeatedly, in this collection.  "Joya Escojida/Chosen Jewel" was my first Spanish poem--#18 here.  Later, #154, "No Day Shall Pass Nor Night Shall Fall" was received for one of several of her military sons--this one still serving in Army's Special Forces.

About two weeks ago, I learned that the "A Clan" would hold one of their epic reunions for Mother's Day.  I promised them a "Costco Cake" sufficient in size to feed them all!  But, as the date approached, just two days before the event [!] I felt a prompting to address some of the grievous concerns, health problems, and even a threatened physical assault against Mrs. A by means of a poem.  This was intimidating, because I did not feel that I had the time nor the talent to complete such a project in only two days.  After some truly humbling prayer, I began....and kept praying during the entire process.  The Lord provided the words below, and with help from Mrs. "A"'s son, accents, grammar corrections, and other refinements were completed more swiftly than I imagined possible.

157.  “Un Mensaje de Paz y Amor”

(Por el Día de la Madre, y una madre magnifica, “B.A.”: 10 de mayo de 2021)

Un angel visitóme anoche
Trayendo deber del Sen͂or.
“Vecina querida merece
Un mensaje de paz y amor.

“Las penas y pesares del mundo
Le duellen y hacen temer.
Le toca a ti ayudarle
Seguir con la fe de creer.

“Que él Padre conoce sus pruebas
Y Jesús esta listo salvar*
Los que buscan La Via Divina
Y en Jesús’ pasos durar”.

En los cielos sus seres queridos
Pueden ver ellas luchas y dolor
Le esperan con brazos abiertos
Esta madre de tanto valor.

Pero en la Tierra sus hijos
No desean que ella se va.
Todavida Le piden al Padre
Cuidar y sanar su mamá.

Así que rogamos al Padre
Que ella se puede descansar.
Confiando que Dios le protege
Hasta venga la hora pasar.

“A Message of Peace and Love”

(For Mother’s Day, and a magnificent mother, “B. A.”: May 10, 2021)

Last night, an angel visited me
Bringing a task from the Lord.
“Your beloved neighbor deserves
A message of peace and love.

“The griefs and pains of the world
Hurt her and cause her to fear.
You are called to help her
Endure with the faith to believe.

“That the Father knows her trials
And Jesus is quick to save*
All who seek His Divine Path
And endure in His steps”.

In the heavens, her loved ones
Can see her struggles and hurt
They await with open arms
This mother of such great worth.

But on Earth, her family
Does not want her to leave.
They always pray to Father
To care for and heal their mother.

And so we plead with Father
To give her comfort and rest.
Trusting that God will protect her
Until the hour for her departure arrives.

AFTERWARD:

This piece impressed upon me the sad/glorious truth that the ranks of beloved seniors are steadily depleted by all the well-known causes--natural and otherwise.  What, to me, was important, was that this piece connects with No. 156 to convey a message critical to both our Seniors and their progeny--live so as to not fear death
